Jetson is a subsidiary business from Oliver & Bonacini. It is an app that offers delivery of food to local offices from high end restaurants. The idea is to create a high end eating experience to office workers.
I was approached to create the branding for Jetson. The brief was to create something simple and elegant, for a food delivery service, but not include any cliche tropes that a lot of smaller delivery companies may lean towards. The idea of a squirrel was requested, but upon attempting, it didn't feel fitting for the type of company Jetson will be.
Trial and error. Sometimes clients may not know what they want until they see it.
I eventually landed on a design that was less food orientated, but rather spoke to the way delivery would be handled. The idea of Jetson is that a restaurant would be on the ground floor of an office complex, and the food would be delivered vertically to the offices above, hence the stacking of the word.
The logo was approved by all the marketing staff and board members, and will become the branding for Jetson when it launches in the future. Jetson will be used amongst restaurants in Canada to begin with.
